out of chaos comes playoffs
hit the coin shop today
picked up a roll of dimes, a few half dollars, and a silver eagle.
he was out of fractional ounce gold eagles and wanted too much for the pre 1933 gold.
he cut the eagle down to $30 and was at 22x face value for old circulated silver, cheaper than apmex like usual (apmex is better on bullion though you are still at $30 an ounce for the 10 ounce bars). not much of a discount honestly. certainly nowhere near $23/oz. the one ounce eagles are a solid $30 online everywhere i look.
thinking about going on a diet / silver buying splurge. every pound I lose I buy an ounce of silver extra. should motivate me to lose a pound or two a week and put a few extra ounces into the stack.
