The Incredible Hulk

It was okay, would've been better if there had been more depth to the story.. there were some big plot holes too.. but if you want action, it's solid. Hopefully the DVD fixes the things that I didn't like. From what I've heard, the theatrical version isn't what the director and Edward Norton wanted to be shown. So I have hope that the DVD will be much better.

I just found this quote from Roger Ebert about the movie.. pretty much sums up my opinion completely.

It sidesteps the intriguing aspects of Hulkdom and spends way too much time in, dare I say, noisy and mindless action sequences

I wanted more story! No matter how great the fight scenes are, they didn't mean much to me because it didn't seem like much was at stake. I know there were things at stake. They just didn't tell the story very well.

The Incredible Hulk

Alot of action. Too much of Liv Tyler with watery eyes. Not enough story, and the theme of The Avengers fighting against a villain that develops the same powers/technology as them should probably end with this movie. Overall it was entertaining and didn't have the ridiculous cartoonish look of the last Hulk. Edward Norton is a huge upgrade over Eric Bana too.

With Tony Stark's appearance in this movie , Samuel L. Jackson's appearance at the end of Iron Man, and Thor supposedly being released in 2010, I wonder how much longer it will be before there is a 'The Avengers' movie.

The Incredible Hulk was an incredible upgrade over Ang Lee's Hulk, and it was an enjoyable film in general. The Happening was okay, but it seemed more like an interesting concept that didn't translate as well in practice. It was entertaining, though.
