The Prestige yesterday, still awesome.

Just watched Splice today. Probably the strangest movie I've ever seen. Worth a watch if you don't mind really weird stuff.

"The Cadillac of mini vans". There's so much great humor in that movie. From Yayo (Yahoo/YoYo), to Harry Zimm, to the sum of Ray Bones' screen time, especially when he's roughing up Zimm, and getting shot (Call 9 fucking 1-1-1, call 9 fucking 1-1-1-1!).

Last potter

Great special effects. The pre battle was quite a scene.

Lousy speeches.

Worth seeing and fairly accurate to the book. I would have liked it much more without some of the inspirational words.

Potter/Radcliffe was terrific, and the progression of Voldemort was very well done.

At first I wasn't sure it was good, but the more I digest it, that was an excellent finale. I like certain other potter films more, but it was still good.

Just got back from the final Potter movie, and man...that was a great way to end the series! The only part that I could have done without was the ethereal Kings Cross scene with Dumbledore. I am definitely glad I decided to not re-read the Deathly Hallows last week, as I had forgotten most of the plot and details, so was in suspense and on the edge of my seat most of the time.

'The Lincoln Lawyer'...reasonably entertaining, if somewhat predictable, thriller. Worth a trip to the Red Box...7/10
