Inception...Nolan does it again. Dramatic, intuitive, deep, awesome. I'd love to see Nolan and Aronofsky collaborate on a project. Might make peoples' heads explode with plot complexity and thought.

Easily the best film of the year in my opinion...
Agreed. Fantastic film all around. DiCaprio is probably the smartest actor of our generation. He could have been pigeonholed into the teeny-bopper roles after 'Titanic', but he's made smart and interesting choices in his roles ever since. Nolan might be the best thing going now behind the camera.

Agreed- and the use of sound throughout was amazing.

That being said, the ending pissed me off for about two minutes- after that, it made it all the more fulfilling.

Really? It's getting a lot of love on Rotten Tomatoes, but having loved the trilogy, I'm kind of skeptical about seeing it.

This movie is so dark and so true to the book. And it cut out some of the unnecessary tangents of the book with just enough info to carry to the next two movies. Check it out.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It was great -- better than the book, which is rare. Hollywood's gonna fuck it up.

Hope not. A bit of hope is that David Fincher is directing, and he makes very good movies for the most part, and is very good at making dark movies.

The Girl Who Played With Fire is playing at the arena grand now, FWIW.

Finally got to watch "Night and Fog", the French Holocaust documentary voted best documentary of all-time by the users of IMDB, last night. It is certainly well done, haunting, judgemental without being preachy, horrifying without being over-the-top visually...worthy of its praise for its historical significance.

Totally agree on everything you said. DiCaprio has proven himself to be a very good actor. He really gets involved with the characters he plays. He makes them so believable. Nolan is the man. His ideas really come to life on the screen. With inception, the concept of the movie is so simple, yet he manages to captivate you into thinking how plausible this really could be.

The ending couldn't have ended better in my opinion. The last 15 min of the movie I was white knuckling it in my chair, gritting my teeth, about to pull my hair out...then I get my moment of fresh air and I'm leveled with the ending. It was perfect.

Inception.

Good not great, way too much A-Team action going on with thousands of bullets flying and only one guy gets hit.
No...you missed the deeper points of the movie completely.
