agree. when they were all jamming together towards the end, you could tell he was lost without his effects pedals :lol:

Girlfriend Experience (not a porno) starring Sasha Grey (porn actress) - It could've been a very interesting, insightful, and emotional piece, but the writing/dialogue was crap, the acting was only slightly better than a high school musical. Good thing it was short (only slightly over 1 hr).

on a 10 scale... 1=sucked, 8=really good... few get a 9-10

Avatar - 7 .. but I bet it would be outstanding in 3D or IMAX
It's Complicated - 4 .. I liked the acting but lacking .. poor man's version of Mama Mia.. which was surprisingly enjoyable
Crazy Heart - 3 .. one of Bridges best efforts but it just bounces around and ends like they ran out of money
The Aviator - 8 .. Di Caprio was excellent and I'm not really a fan.. may have to change my opinion after this one
The Dark Knight - 8.. Ledger really was good.. not just postmortem hype as I assumed
The Wrestler - 4 .. Rourke really tried.. Marisa Tomei is one hot 40 yr old.. kept imagining Rourke in 9 1/2 and his better days
Shooter - 4-5 .. not a Walhberg fan but was worth the 2 hrs
Couples Retreat - 3 .. ehhhh
Blind Side - 7 .. tough to match the hype
IQ - 5 .. decent acting, somewhat shallow content.. watched it because it was shot in Princeton
The Informant - 5 .. cuz I like Damon and it did have a lot of good parts
Law Abiding Citizen - 6-7 .. Gerard Butler was the star, Fox was OK but Butler carried it
Milk - 3 .. altho Sean Penn really did a very good job
Did You Hear About the Morgans - 3-4 .. pretty non-descript

Guess I was looking for something and got nothing out of it... didn't even find it funny... I tend to either have high or low expectations.. and generally movies with low expectations fare much better... this one I expected much more and was disappointed .. Dark Knight and Aviator I had low expectations... and was very surprised

Just watched it.. thanks for the recommendation... very interesting concept.. I guess I'm an American snob... that we're responsible if we don't provide food, welfare, protection and jobs to everyone on the planet... no real surprises...

Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day......huge fan of the first movie. This one was not as good, but it was still solid. Whereas I give the first one a 4.5/5 stars, I would say the sequel would be a 3.75/5 stars.

Enemy at the Gate.....been wanting to see this for awhile. Great sniper/war film. Got a little slow with a love story intertwined, but still a great movie. 4/5 stars
