Going to watch Knowing tomorrow. When I first saw the trailer I thought it looked pretty lame and unoriginal. I've heard from a few people I respect that there's a little more to it and it's pretty thought-provoking. Also heard the ending is quite different than the average lame-ass Nick Cage movie. We'll see how it goes.

Well, I actually really enjoyed it. It was a lot different. Pretty far out there, but if you watch it with an open mind it's very enjoyable. There are some pretty terrifying moments. I saw a review somewhere that said something like "It's the movie that The Day the Earth Stood Still was trying to be." That was accurate.

I saw Monsters vs. Aliens (in 3D) last night. I'm a fan of the animated movies, because most of them actually have pretty good story lines and humor. MvA was decent, but it was low on laughs and the story was kind of weak. I was expecting it to be funny, since they had some big names in comedy (Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Stephen Colbert, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett) but the writing drug them down a bit. Colbert had just about all the funny parts.

This was the first time I had watched a movie in "Real 3D", and I came away impressed. It looked fantastic.

Green Street Hooligans-saw it mentioned on here, so I got it on Inter-library loan. Overall a very good flick, the whole "Harvard snob to London badass" angle was a bit contrived, but the whole storyline and action w/ the "firm" was great.

pull rudd filled wkd...

saw 'role models' sat night (surprisingly good)... if there are any wet hot american summer fans, theres a great outtake at the end w/ elizabeth banks and rudd making out, and says 'you taste like a burger' after, just like whas...

saw 'i love you man' sunday, really funny, the awkwardness of rudd was great.

Got to be one of the most underrated comedies of all time. I wish I could find a clip of the bbq sauce scene, Paul Rudd kills it in that movie.
