Really? It was so corny though. Especially the scenes between Natalie Portman and the guy who played Annakin Skywalker(Christian Haden, I think).

I will never, in my entire life forget, when I watched that film in a packed theater and lots of people actually started laughing during a very serious scene between Natalie Portman and Christian Haden. I don't remeber what the scene was about, but I know Christian Haden was crying and telling Natalie about his difficulties.

Maybe someone will know what I am talking about, but none the less a very humorous moment during a serious scene.

Had a similar experience, just a different scene...well maybe it was the same one, I can't remember. Portman says something lake "Oh Annie, hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo"...:slappy: Yeah, it got a pretty loud smattering of laughter. George Lucas cannot right serious dialogue. Some of it was downright painful to watch.

Dude's name is Hayden Christianson (sp?), and it's not just the Start Wars movies. I went and saw that 'Jumper' movie a couple months back and it was awful. He's like a cardboard cut-out on screen. No personality at all.

Yes, SWIII was corny as hell at times - and Hayden C. was quite terrible (I think I laughed out loud at the same parts), but the movie was still enjoyable - I guess I'm just sentimental for the whole SW saga what with my 70s upbringing and all. At the end, I really wanted to watch episode 4.

Yeah, it was definately the best of the prequels. I'm a huge Star Wars fan too. Not on a dress up, carry around a toy light-saber, wait in line for tickets level, but a fan. The three prequels were just dragged down by bad screenwriting, worse acting and overdone special effects.
