The Oakland Raiders were a different team when I was a kid.
Just watch the white hat #72. He wants no part of sticking his nose in the middle of that scrum, winds up in the pile anyway.

The "exuding the RAIDER way" is what I was talking about. This sense that the Raiders have to be the big mean bullies because that's what they were in the 70s. That was 50 years ago. Football isn't that anymore. But the fanbase has this desire to always do things ThE rAiDeR wAy.

I love how Bill’s coaching tree being so dedicated to the “Patriot way” has caused his tree to burn down.
It seems pretty clear now that the Patriot way was simply Tom Brady + Bill’s defensive schemes. Without Tom, the Patriot way looks like a reliance on attitude over talent and being right over learning from mistakes. Pure arrogance.
