Sam Kinison had a bit where his car "Mr Vette" would talk him into going out at night and getting into trouble. He said finally one day the cops were at his door saying "We found Mr Vette wrapped around a light pole and we need a Mr Explination."


I know they can't nail him for this but as a former heavy partier just let me say, if I wreck my fucking Lamborghini stone cold sober...I'm not just abdoning it on the side of the road regardless of the time of night.

OTOH if I wrecked my car drunk, I'm going to beat it the hell out of there so at the very worst they could only give me a stupid abonding my car ticket and not nail me for DUI.

I was born at night, but not last night Lance.

I think it's smart of him. From a legal stand point. He avoids what could have been much worse charges and possible imprisonment. As far as the NFL, Goodell has proven, he's no dummy.
