Very inconsistent reffing, but no conspiracy.
The Lakers couldn't get a call for most of the 4th quarter, but in the OT they got critical breaks.
With about 1 minute to go, Ariza got an offensive rebound by coming back in bounds and he only had 1 foot down, so it should have been Orlando ball with the game still tied. The Orlando coaches and I both saw it live - the announcers missed it even when the replay showed it clearly.
After another offensive board, Kobe got away with the elbow to Nelson for Fisher to hit the go-ahead 3.
But at the end of regulation, the Magic blew it. Howard missed a pair of FTs with a 3-point lead and 10 or 11 seconds left. Then up 3 with about 6 seconds left, Nelson lets Fisher hit an open 3 instead of fouling him before the shot, or at least playing him tight at the 3-point line.
It Orlando could have hit a layup with half a second left, and 1 of 2 FTs with 10 seconds left, in the 2 games just before they went to OT, they could be up 3-1 instead of down 3-1.
