Lake Tahoe

Going out there next Wednesday evening for a three day trip and wanted to know any info about the area.

We want to go snowmobiling but it's like $50-$90 and hour!!

Any places out there you guys recommend?

We're staying at Harveys by the way.

Great place... very peaceful with the bright blue water with ski resorts all around it. I've been there a couple of times (usually a week each time) for ski trips. We stay in Reno (for the nightlife) and have a shuttle take us to the ski resorts (free shuttle if you purchase your lift tickets at the casino). The shuttle takes about 45 min... and goes through Carson City (neat little town... small though).

The eastern part of Lake Tahoe is in Nevada, there are a couple of casino's there. I frankly don't know if there is a town or not. I've only been to the ski resorts in the area. Seems like a sleepy little town... very relaxing...
