OSU 32 Indiana 29 at the half. The Bucks went down 9 midway through the half but stormed back on a 15-2 run over the last 3 minutes or so. Jantel has 13; Star has 8 pts and 9 rebounds. Whitney Thomas with a dozen for the Hoosiers.

Well deserved! She really worked hard - 21 points, 13 rebounds.

I especially enjoyed their guard hacking Prahalis in the backcourt on two straight possessions late in the game to get tossed. Looked like she was tired of being out there or something. :lol:

Outstanding performance by Star Allen. She did such a wonderful job on the offensive rebounds. They also did a wonderful job of playing team ball. They just need to continue to play hard!!!

Not it's time for Purdue on Thursday. We also had a nice crowd. What can be done to get more people to support the girls basketball team?? They are winning and playing such good basketball!!!:oh::io:

This is one area that really concerns me. I don't think that we have enough good outside shooters and while we can get away with it in the Big 10 when it comes to the Tournament we will be playing against teams that have some big players or they will just pack it in and let us try to beat them from the outside. Sammy was the only one that was really shooting well from three-point range. I am a little disappointed with Treb.... I thought that she would be a much better three-point shooter this year. Also, Little must start shooting the ball when she is wide open.

Well, the crowd certainly did their best to encourage Little. :lol:

Unfortunately, I think you're probably right about the outside shooting. I'd certainly sag a zone toward Lavender if I was our tourney opponent. Maybe we can sneak Marscilla Packer into a game or two... :sneaky:
