Denver has got to be the most gutless team in pro sports.

Usually when a team is down 0-2 and goes home you expect to catch hell in game 3. I was thinking we'd be doing well to be within 10 at the half. The only fight they showed at all was getting an 18 point lead down to 10 midway through the 3rd quarter(which quickly turned into a 20+ lead after a Laker TO).

I feel bad for their fans, the team is an embarassment.

Not every Nugget shared Carmelo Anthony's sentiment that Denver "quit" during its 102-84 loss to the Lakers in Game 3 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series Saturday.

According to Denver-area media reports, Nuggets forwards Linas Kleiza and Eduardo Najera said Anthony's sentiments came at a delicate juncture in the series; Denver is on the verge of being swept by the Lakers.

"I don't think the team quit," Kleiza told reporters. "I know you guys want to get guys when they're frustrated and say things they don't want to say. Nobody quit. We're all together."

2) This has to be one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen, the refs don't even agree on half the calls.

No surrender on this night. No frustration fouls filling up the fourth quarter of another blowout.

No matter. The Lakers dispatched the tempestuous Nuggets anyway.

Kobe Bryant scored 14 of his 31 points over the final 5 1/2 minutes Monday night, leading the Lakers to a 107-101 victory and a sweep of their first-round series.
