AJ Green will sit out and rest his shoulder in preparation for the Georgia Tech game.

Adjust your wagering accordingly.

Hey woof, every report I had read had A.J. out for this game and unlikely for the Tech game next week. To be honest, I haven't diven really far into it as I don't think his presence will be the determining factor in COFH. I had just heard this injury was more serious than many realized. What do you know brother?

Predictably, Richt is playing his cards close to his chest on this one. All he said on his coaches show is that its a sprained shoulder and that the Kentucky game is out.

He's allowed to run and condition - but no lifting and no contact till the doctors give him a thumbs up. If he isn't back for Tech game - he'll be back for the Bowl game.

Sorry for the non-descript response. Not much coming out of Athens and with Georgia having an average year - the media ain't exactly flocking to cover practice. They're all on North Ave.

Ok. Yeah I appreciate the response. Green is an extremely special player so I hope we get a chance at him next week!

It will be interesting to see if Marlon Brown is able to step up for this Kentucky game. Lord knows I was pulling for him to be a Buckeye for two selfish reasons.

Good luck on Sat....see ya next week :banger:

Are either of you going to the game next Sat?

We'll see. I live 10 minutes from Campus - so I'll definately be tailgating.

What I don't need to happen is for me to be drinking all day - convince myself that I have to get into the game - then overpay some scalper for shit tickets.

Despite the fact that it's a rivalry game - it's usually not too difficult to get tickets. The game is always played over Thanksgiving and alot of people are out of town.

RIP, Uga VII.

Georgia's bulldog mascot Uga VII dies

ATLANTA -- Uga VII, the white English bulldog mascot for the University of Georgia's football team for almost two seasons, died Thursday of heart-related causes, the dog's owner said.

The 56-pound dog, nicknamed "Loran's Best," was known as a laid-back mascot who seemed oblivious to crowd noise during boisterous games and would sit patiently as excited fans snapped photos of him. He often roamed the sidelines in a shirt with a 'G' stitched on it, sometimes resting on a bag of ice to cool off in his customized dog house.

The school said there would be no mascot at Saturday's game in Athens against Southeastern Conference rival Kentucky, but that a wreath will be laid on his doghouse on the field's sidelines. Sonny Seiler, the dog's owner, said he likely wouldn't name a replacement until next year.

Cont'd ...
