Trust me, and I am not kidding here, kids do not always do what they are coached to do.... :roll2:[/QUOTE]

Even at the college level this QUOTE seems to fit into what is called the right decision and proper execution. When those two do not mesh, then failure is the result. Coach Tressel once said "Do the things that you know you can do...... and NOT Do what you THINK you can do. Sometimes out on the playing field we don't have time to think. It's got to be re-action timing thing.

Go back and look at the games in 2002 that we could have easily lost. Cincy PennState Purdue Illinois and Michigan. All of the above apply to these games. If OhioState loses those games I wonder how many Buckeye Fans would be calling for Tressels head. Same thing has happened to Ron Zook at Florida.

So if Criticism is the right word being used in this thread, then the only proper criticism that should be used is called Constructive Criticism. We can tear down all we want, but that isn't going to get us anywhere but going round and round in circles. Coach Tressel and The Ohio State University are trying to build a great football team for the future. I wonder how many of us out there are willing to lend a hand. I know I am.

Any time you can't defend a statement you make you just use a :slappy:?

Is that your form of arguement. Smart and dumb at the same time.

I honestly don't know how you are a coach or a teacher as backward as rediculous as you can be some times.

Now that is classic...

The jackass everyone ridicules because he spouts off worthless, idiotic statements about a game he really has no clue about is now calling me out....

Let's get into this then...

You read a group of opinions then post some lame attempt at making yourself look halfway intelligent by using a conglomerate of others' thoughts, you change your mind and position as often as you do your underwear, and then to top ita ll off, claim the team will get its "ass kicked" during scUM week of all weeks....

Smart and dumb at the same time?? I guess that would be better than a stupid-ass wannabe at all times like you bro.

Anytime, anyone refutes your points or proves you wrong, you simply spin the argument or change your position. Your lack of ANY sort of football sense is glaring...yet you still try to argue your idiocy.

Really, who is ridiculous?

Btw dipshit, you complained aboutthe playcalling in this very thread.....

Kippy,

I am not really sure how to respond to it.

I think there is a lot of good stuff their, but I don't think that anyone here helps build a great football program unless they are some how directly related in some way to the football program.

I know mistakes happen when players try to do more than they can, I also know that effort mistakes are easier to live with than mental mistakes. The question I guess comes down to if you think T.Smith's mistake was because he was making an effort to make something happen that wasn't there, or if it was a mental mistake because he knew what he should do and didn't do it. Same thing if you know the snap count is on two and you go on one, it is a mental mistake. Players make false starts all of the time, but does that mean it is the players fault, or should the coach take at least some of the responsibility to make sure his team is disciplined and will not make those kind of mistakes?

Other than that I am not sure I know how to respond, maybe you could make it clearer if you would like me to say something more.

You really should go into sewage management :slappy:

First of all I have gotten plenty of positive comments about how knowledgeable my post are, so you must be confussed. To come up with that kind of comment is a rediculous whether you want to admidt it or not.

You read a group of opinions then post some lame attempt at making yourself look halfway intelligent by using a conglomerate of others' thoughts, you change your mind and position as often as you do your underwear, and then to top ita ll off, claim the team will get its "ass kicked" during scUM week of all weeks....

First of all I don't think being honest about how I think this weekends game will turn out is a bad thing. See you put yourself in a great position because if we do get our asses kicked, and I say anything about your stupidity, then I will get run for "not being a true fan", but if we win you look like a genius and can say I told you so. Smart again, but not really. My mind doesn't change if you ever have any question about what I said feel free to call me out on it using specifics. I don't change my position without starting by using the words I was wrong. Something I am capable of saying when I am, but obviously you aren't.

Smart and dumb at the same time?? I guess that would be better than a stupid-ass wannabe at all times like you bro.

Wannabe, is this kindergarten? I know I am not a loved member of this board by many of the people that think that any critisism of the coaches, or team, is a negative to the program. To those who think that this board can decide the out come of games. To those who can't face reality. I however am without a doubt a Buckeye Fan, I would have to be to put up with an ass hole like you so I can talk Buckeye football.

Anytime, anyone refutes your points or proves you wrong, you simply spin the argument or change your position. Your lack of ANY sort of football sense is glaring...yet you still try to argue your idiocy

Maybe you aren't making your points clearly enough because I do admidt I am wrong. I was wrong about Fox being a poor CB and have said that, because as I have watched especially since he has gotten back from his injury, I have notice he actually is playing much better, and in turn I was wrong about the scheme which you pointed out because Youbouty is now playing very similar to how Fox used to. I don't really understand why we don't have athletes that can cover closer and keep these plays from happening, but the fact is you were right about the scheme.

I have no problem admiting anything if I am shown where I am wrong?

I don't change my position, if you see something that seems inconsistant please point it out and let me know and I will explain, or admidt it.

Hopefully this clears some of your issues up.

My red rubies have more to do with people that don't want to hear the truth on a buckeye board, more than the fact that my posts aren't knowledgable.

Things like "we are going to get our asses kicked by Michigan" are how you get red rubies not because of a lack of football knowledge

Good try, next.
