SALT LAKE CITY - Elizabeth Smart is taking a job with ABC News as a commentator focusing on missing persons and child abduction cases.
The Utah woman who was kidnapped from her bedroom at knifepoint, raped and held captive at age 14 by a Salt Lake City street preacher can provide viewers with a unique perspective, network spokeswoman Julie Townsend told The Associated Press on Thursday.
A deal with the now 23-year-old has been the works for several months and she could be on the air within the next few weeks, Townsend said.
And Chewey would hit that like some golden tablets he found looking through colored glass stones in his hat told him to hit that - and she wasn't wearing magic Mormon anti-Wooki underwear...

Forgot . . . to change . . . usernames . . . .
Chewy was here in 2004 when BKB was trolling and getting in fights with mods.

My homage to Chewy was not an attempt to assume his identify....his predilection to want to hit almost anything is well known.

I know the Smarts, and better people just don't exist. Glad Elizabeth is doing so well and the trial is finally over.
Doing well??? She is amazingly strong. Putting herself into that lime light of a show about people who endured the same horrible experience that she did means that she was not only been able to overcome those emotional demons, but whip the [Mark May] out of them.

Her interview with Nancy Grace for example. Elizabeth owned that hag.

They appear to be good people. She could find herself in deep water with such a job. The emotional toll could be immense. She's still just a kid at 23.

Her uncle worked with the Salt Lake Tribune and did an incredible job of keeping Elizabeth in the news to keep people alert and searching. His actions have become a sort of "how-to" for families since then. I'm sure putting herself in a position to perform the same service for other children is a big motivator.

The same kind of tactics used by Elizabeth's father have been used and improved upon (well, improved is questionable) in the massive search that was going on for the missing IU student here in Indiana, although I believe the outcome was not as happy (haven't heard if the body found in Indy was her or not).

What about being bound by Dantooine hookers? Or is that all a lie too?
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dantooine
Dantooine
(pronounced /'d?ntuin/) was a pleasant world of grasslands, rivers and lakes. The planet was located in the Raioballo sector of the Outer Rim at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow, the other endpoint of which was in the Obtrexta sector, though Dantooine itself was still far removed from most galactic traffic. It hosted a small population spread amongst single-family settlements and small communities with large land holdings. Its sentient population consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari race. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath, and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology by the time of the Galactic Civil War, save for a temporary Rebel base there.
I think you meant Tatooine hookers:
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tatooine
Tatooine (pronounced /t?tu'in/) was a desert world and the first in a binary star star system that had three moons and was in the Arkanis sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was inhabited by poor locals who mostly farmed moisture for a living. Other activities included used equipment retailing and scrap dealing. The planet was on the 5709-DC Shipping Lane, a spur of the Triellus Trade Route, which itself connected to the Sisar Run. The planet was not far from the Corellian Run. It had its own navigation system. However, it would still play a role in galactic events, serving as the home of Anakin Skywalker. It was here that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn recognized Anakin's potential to become a Jedi and where he introduced him to Obi-Wan Kenobi, his future master and mentor. Tatooine was also the home of Anakin's son, Luke, where he lived until his early adulthood. The planet built up a very bad reputation, often being viewed as the cesspool of the galaxy due to the high-level of criminals who could be found onworld.
