There's no reason for this.... he's such a good fit at OSU.

He is no longer listed on Alabama's depth chart, and has played a total of ten snaps in his college career.Heres a closer look at redshirt freshman DE Keon Keeley, a former 5-star.
Keeley gained the most weight of any player on the team per yesterdays roster update, adding 35 pounds. He now weighs 277. pic.twitter.com/FFO1gQMgYC

Not 2025, but relevant to this board - Keon Keeley is no longer dressing for away games at Alabama.
Alabama sold Keeley on playing OLB in their 3-4 defense (the "Will Anderson" STAR role). To nobody's surprise, they scrapped that plan this offseason and forced Keeley to bulk up to a run-stuffing DL.

Keeley is almost guaranteed to transfer out after this year, and Ohio State will be at the top of his list.
Actually the Bama scheme now is very similar to what OSU runs now(or wants to run). 4-2-5, with a DE being able to be a pass rusher(Jack) or switch to SDE. I thought they still were running 3-4, which he would be terrible in. But it looks like they didn't like him at full time DE, and decided to try and bulk him up to play DT. And that hasn't worked either... Change of scenery couldn't hurt, but what is he as a player? Not sure how good he is ...
However, he clearly fits into an LJ scheme better than the Alabama scheme.
