Kentucky 43, LSU 37 (Final, 3 OT)

part of me doesn't want lsu to lose. of course, i want ohio state to win out and make it to a national championship. i just don't want to see our team with the position of #1 until the very end of the season. in a perfect world, either lsu or cal would win out, with ohio state staying a #2 until the national championship game.

I agree, but I'd rather play against Cal than LSU.

Whoa! Huge roughing the passer call against LSU.

If you care about who we would play in the NC game I can see your point.
I don't care who we play just so long as we are undefeated after the end of the BC game.

nah... i don't believe you. :p
You better cuz I'm serious. You are just remembering how the #2 team has been winning. All we have to do is take care of business. I have confidence in us.

I'm not sure I agree with that. Every NC team other than the '95 Cornhuskers has had at least one really close game. Kentucky is just playing really well.

I understand that, but in those "close" games the team rarely looks like a national championship team. I believe that is the case today. That being said, I'm not saying that LSU's entire resume doesn't make them look like a national championship team (double negative), because it does.
