Yeah it’s up to Sayin to make quick decisions when JJ is covered, and the TEs not being able to block. Also, Sayin needs a shorter memory as he gets the yips when he screws up. They’re going to have to change some things up as the season goes on.

Absolutely need to clean up the play calling and execution on 3rd and 4th downs. My biggest takeaway from the 1st team offense.

Felt like the running game was pretty decent when they were actually trying. The backups left a lot to be desired running the ball.

Julian seems like he's been off somewhat at points during the games. Needs to click back in and maybe look for Innis more.

Defense was excellent besides sack production. Overall I feel like the defense, besides a few over throws and pass rush struggles, has been good this year minus the 4th qtr last week.

Personally I think our RBs, are decent to good. We don't have a great back on the roster, imo. DGG next year would have been great and probably why OSU targeted him so heavily.

I think we need to become a 60-40 passing team. We have weapons and for the most part Julian is a great QB. Maybe needs some time to develop with the new weapons. But I wouldn't mind if we had 40 passing attempts per game with more up tempo. Art Smith will probably never be that guy however.

I take absolutely nothing away from this game. No matter how much success they have, we can find a dozen plays that sucked and focus on those rather than those first 3 drives where they did everything they wanted.

I swear, the only reason anybody even watches games like these is to find something to be pissed off about. :lol:
