JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Ohio State had the potential winning run thrown out at home in the top of the ninth and 10th innings, but finally scored in the 11th to win 3-2 at North Florida Friday at Harmon Stadium.
The Buckeyes tied the game 2-2 in the seventh inning, but the Ospreys tuned away the Buckeyes at the plate to send the game to extra innings and again in the 10th.

Buckeyes crush Western Michigan


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Ohio State scored five runs in the first, added another five in the seventh and got a complete-game, three-hitter from starter Cory Luebke to claim a 10-1 victory over Western Michigan Saturday in the Kennel Club Classic at Harmon Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.

Bucks slip past UConn


ACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Ohio State outfielder Michael Arp gave the Buckeyes a 2-1 win over Connecticut Sunday at the Kennel Club Classic at Harmon Stadium at the University of North Florida.
Trailing 1-0 going into the bottom of the seventh, Tony Kennedy (Jr., Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) led off with an infield single and then was able to move up to second when shortstop Dennis Donavan threw past first base. Jason Zoeller (Sr., Verona, Pa./Shady Side Academy) reached on a bunt and Kennedy was able to beat out a throw on the fielder's choice to third to put runners at the corners.
