Kelly Pavlik(+120) vs. Jermain Taylor(-75)

Round 7: Pavlik is using his jab a lot better than I remember seeing out of him (b/c he was landing all bombs against Miranda) Pavlik -- KNOCKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: One of the best day in sports I can remember! The crowd staring chanting "Kel-ly, Kel-ly" and Pavlik just starting knocking the shit out of him. The scarlet and gray trunks are bringing the title home to OHIO!

HBO just reported that Pavlik was down 3, 3, and 4 rounds on the official scorecards, respectively. It's bullshit, but typical that close rounds go to the champ in title fights. Thankfully, Pavlik took matters into his own hands.

LIKE IT IS : Loss leaves Taylor with a decision to make

ATLANTIC CITY, N. J. ? Hungry.
Something to prove.
Those were just two of the motivations Jermain Taylor and his trainer, Emanuel Steward, called upon over and over in the days leading up to Taylor?s defense of his middleweight championship Saturday night.
Steward, more than Taylor, had something to prove because Taylor?s past three fights, all under Steward?s watch, had been far less than what the boxing world expected after Taylor stripped Bernard Hopkins of the middleweight championship a little more than two years ago.
Steward pointed out all three of those opponents were lefties, and all three moved up from 154 pounds to 160 to fight.
