Kansas Jayhawks (official thread)

I'm not sure if people realize how hard a job that really is. On top of little history of tradition to speak of, Lawrence is a shit hole in one of the worst climates in the country. Summers are sweltering and winters get very cold with frequent ice storms. Not an easy place to recruit to.

Kansas should go the interim route. Not only is it one of the least desirable P5 jobs, but I would consider the higher level FCS jobs (eg- North Dakota State, Delaware, James Madison, Villanova, Stony Brook, and Northern Iowa) would be better jobs than Kansas.

shiiiit, there is a High School job in New Orleans i’d take before taking the Kansas job

Jeff Long out as Kansas' athletic director days after school parted ways with football coach Les Miles

Jeff Long is out as Kansas' athletic director, he confirmed to ESPN's Heather Dinich on Wednesday.

An official announcement is scheduled for later Wednesday when Kansas has called a staff meeting. Long declined further comment to ESPN.

so, got to thinking of it.

not the Nola school i had in mind when posted, but another Nola school i’d take first produces NFL talent at a ridiculous rate.

only problem is that it’s is a ROUGH part of the city.
Like they literally practice “hitting the deck” for when gunshots ring out during practices.
I’d probably coach there over Kansas.

A High School with an annual enrollment of only about 600.
Mathieu and Fournette are both Alumni.
So is Avery Johnson (NBA player and coach).
And Apollo Creed.
