Had my Birthday dinner with the family... got a pair of fuente fuente opus x... I'm a cigar fan, and have never had an opus x... as you can tell I'm excited and figured I'd share...

I'll put them in the humidor... these babies aren't coming out unless something really special happens...

Here's a cigar you should try, especially if you like Sumatra wrapper cigars as much as I do. It's called Dona Ines. It's a Thompson "house brand", but it's the best cigar I've ever had. Try a box, you won't regret it.

i had an opus x on saturday (first round of golf for 2005), i picked it up around christmas, sat in the humi for a few months, it was great! I think saturday for the tailgate, i'll be having a cuban, either Cohiba or Romeo y Julitea

If you put those in your humidor... they are just going to get old and fucking moldy-- no need to take the risk... just pack them up, and bring them over to your best pal AKAK's house-- you know where I live--.. and we'll suck em down.. no problems.

I've got piles of Scotch. :wink2:

Thanks all... my B-day isn't until Friday...

We're (myself and the better half) going on vacation Thursday (about 45 min. north of West Palm Beach)... had the family dinner a bit early...

I'll enjoy my b-day sitting on the beach drinking all day (unless I choose to get off my fat rear and get on the golf course)... We have tee times for several nice courses down there... two weeks of golf, sun, fresh seafood, and lots of drinks (the couple we're going down with are heavy drinkers... I cannot let them have all the fun... I'm sure we'll get into some trouble... I'll have stories to share)...(I might even spend some quality time with the Mrs. :biggrin:)....

I usually ask the guys about products that their boss wants moved out... I'll offer lowball offers and usually get my price. I buy by the box though...

Ask for a mild cigar in your price range... the folks that work at the better stores know their stuff well... They'll point you to a good one.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help... I don't think I've ever purchased a single stick... you get good price breaks if you purchase by the box...
