Don't want to hijack the thread but the reference to Lion's Den reminds me of a long forgotten funny story...

When I was 13, I worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant near the Lion's Den on Morse Road at Westerville Road in Columbus back in the 60s. I used to ride my bike to work.

One day, as I passed that little Lion's Den building, a guy came out the front door and ran right through my bike, knocking me down. A lady, must have been his wife, came out behind him. She was a big woman and she was moving fast.

She beat the living hell out of him shouting at the top of her lungs at the same time, calling him all sorts of names. I can still remember her yelling "you 'PREvert', you 'PREvert'".

When I scooted out from under my bike and got a good look at him, he was a hell of a mess, swollen lips and a cut above his eye. I don't know what she was beating him with but it may have been some sex toy and I was too stupid to recognize it.

When she saw me and my bicycle, her demeanor completely changed. She straightened her dress, helped me up, and asked if I was okay. You'd of thought she was my long lost auntie bringing me Kool Aid. When I said "yes" and started pedalling away, she began yelling and lit into him again.

When I got to Cleveland Avenue, he drove by and she was cussing him every which way. I can still remember the word "prevert" as they turned south on Cleveland. People in the surrounding cars were so amused that they forgot to go when the light changed.

I reckon that she either took him to church the next morning to clean him of that devil influence or divorced his ass on Monday. Whatever, I bet he wished she never found him in Lion's Den.
