Different sport, but cheating, paying Chris Webber hundreds of thousands of dollars, and having the Fab Five in basketball and still not winning a national title with them. They can't even cheat right.

Seriously though, Appalachian State and losing to a 3-9 Toledo team at home is all you need. Toledo's other two wins that year were over a 3 win Eastern Michigan team and a 2 win Miami team :)
