What happened to my ¤cash?
So, anyone using Juke or Sonos (or other) in their homes?

As many of you know, my wife and I left Chicagoland for Lake Norman area in NC last fall. Purchased a home that was built in 2006. Exactly the floor plan we wanted (all bedrooms first floor because we're getting old and decrepit), 2.3 acre wooded lot, a heard of deer that hangs out on our property... can walk to the lake and 15 minute drive to get to the boat.

One of the things that was here was an old Legrand / Lyriq system that included 10-rooms with ceiling speakers, home security, intercoms... (https://www.homecontrols.com/homeco...YinAnAfhyQ2NTrg_wYzQEpo70_021fSMPOYfAP4hsV98n). Totally state of the art for 2006.

Anyhow, the previous owners didn't really use or keep the system in good working order. I ended up pulling the crap out of the wire closet (it was two full panels). I have my own security stuff through Apple HomeKit+Aqara... but I wanted to keep the speakers. Candidly, across 10 rooms there is over $7500 in Klipsch hardware that was wasting.

Ended up getting a low voltage guy to come in to run wires back to my AV closet from each of the rooms. The old system used in-room key-pads which have been removed and drywalled over.

Got it all done last night and hooked up two Juke Audio servers (6-rooms each so needed two) and it's frick'n incredible. From any device on the same network I can Airplay2 to any room and with Airplay2 it also will broadcast to any traditional receiver on the same network with Airplay2. Holy hell, I'm impressed.

Anyone else out there messing around with this kind of stuff? I'm in love with technology all over again!
