Tressel doesn't suffer fools lightly. Remember his spontaneous spanking of winslow on t.v.? JT doesn't take any crap without a response in some way.
All this young season JT has faced the same old criticism...being lucky, yak, yak. NCSt players and their acerbic coach used teasing wordage all week aimed at diminishing our Bucks and Tressel. Top this off with our TEAM at breakfast yesterday morning where(as the TEAM watched),espn's herb and corset picked NCSt to win, just 3 hours before we hit the field.
JT knew how we lined up against the Pack. TO's played into our win, but, unlike the G-d..ned media, how many of those TO's resulted from robust Buckeye TEAM play? Most did.
As to the criticism of Pack qb Davis: Ya can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. At least putting a freshman up against our D. NCSt fans, knowing pigs first hand, can relate to this observation.
I'm with Tressel. People around the media scene will learn to better choose their words with JT or end up with him taking them to task...with great personal control, I might add.

I think it was a back handed thank-you to herbie every now and again herbie stirs the pot with the bucks so they don't get the big head. I honestly believe herbie does things on purpose. Just like a bunch of us on this site I took ncst in the spread thread for reverse physicology (spelling) don't doubt herbie's love for the bucks. Him and jt are in kahoots(spelling) long night sorry.
