My guess would be OSU being back in the lead for him since he was here for an unofficial last week for PSU. There's a picture in this week's BSB of Bobby Carpenter talking to him.

JOE BARKSDALE, the big, strong offensive lineman from Detroit (Cass Tech), has NFL potential.
The 6-6, 320-pounder had more than 80 offers.
When asked some of the schools Barksdale has offers from:
"The whole top 25." said Barksdale
"I don't have a favorite, but Notre Dame, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, USC and Florida State are recruiting me the hardest." said Barksdale.
"I like Michigan's academics and their winning tradition." said Barksdale.
"LSU's defensive line coach is a nice guy and I like their academics." said Barksdale, "I have a recruiting visit lined up November 5 at LSU."
"November 24, I have a visit lined up at USC." said Barksdale, "I like USC's academics and athletic tradition."
"I visited Notre Dame September 15, and I have a Miami official sometime in December." said Barksdale.
