Why would anyone worry? I don't think it's happening either, or has been seriously considered. But if I had my choice, I wish it would happen.Guys, don't worry. I don't see that happening.
Because it would be a daily reminder that, while he did break rule #1, it's bullshit that he didn't get to stop coaching on his own terms. If he still wants to be coaching college football, he should be doing it here. Why would anyone worry? I don't think it's happening either, or has been seriously considered. I see your point, but the fact remains that he was effectively fired (I assume) by OSU whether he coaches again or not. I think it would be really interesting though to see what he could do with a program like Nebraska, and I suspect he would do really well. The only real downside to me is that he would recruit the hell out of Ohio. Again, though, I don't think Tressel to Nebraska is under any serious consideration, so I'm just thinking of it as an interesting counter-factual scenario.Because it would be a daily reminder that, while he did break rule #1, it's bull[Mark May] that he didn't get to stop coaching on his own terms. I'd feel better about it if he were doing it outside the B1G. Then I could root like hell for whoever he was coaching.I see your point, but the fact remains that he was effectively fired (I assume) by OSU whether he coaches again or not.
