I guess what leaves the worst taste in my mouth is when he came to the aid of this black woman who worked at UDF in Columbus and claimed she was fired for being a minority.

Jackson was on the first Rainbow Coalition Jet to Columbus grandstanding in front of the press.

The next day, UDF releases a video of her stealing from the cash register and he is never heard from again on the issue.

If I remember right it was a few days if not weeks before they released the tape. well after Jackson tried to organize a boycottof UDF, and yes after it was shown that she was a thief nothing was said.

With the Linders power down in Cincy I am pretty sure Jackson has been outlawed from being in cincy since then.

Racist Washing Machines

jesse.jpg

The Reverend Jesse Jackson was holding a press conference
in the appliance department of a Sears store in Chicago.
He was there to protest the fact that all the washing
machines were white.
So the clerk called the store manager, who asked,
"What's the problem here, Reverend?" Jesse pointed
at the machines and loudly bemoaned the fact that all
of them were white.
The manager replied, "Well, Reverend, it's true that
all the washing machines are white, but if you'll open
the lids, you'll see that the agitators are black."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

If Jesse Jackson weren't black he wouldn't have anything to say. Blacks (african-americans, whatev) have told me he doesn't speak for them. Same for Al Sharpton. They might have had bearing once, but they have far outlived their usefulness. They need to find a new shtick.

I can understand the idea of wanting to never let an issue be forgotten, should it doom it to be repeated but frankly, picking a scab over and over only makes the healing process go slower and it leaves an ugly fucking scar.
