Actually, if they changed the pants to the metallic silver where it is all white now, they'd be pretty sweet.

Nike has successfully eradicated nearly all metallic pants. Adidas, ever attempting to mimic them, has done the same pairing iridescent gold nd helmets with matte mustard pants

Eh. Missing the gray. Again. Nike, throw in some gray in the stripes and make the pants gray and get back to me. At least the helmets look like Ohio State, which is more than can be said for some past iterations.

Agree. I have never been a fan of the monochromatic scheme of having the pants and jerseys the same color. As Bestbuck said above, if the pants were the metallic silver, I would like them.

Also, why are programs like Tennessee and Oklahoma State getting gray in their uniforms just because, and Ohio State is losing it? Is there a finite amount of gray allowed in college football uniforms?

For the same reason that so many schools have adopted black as the preferred color for their alternate uniform.

I understand that gray is the new black when it comes to alternate uniforms...I just don't get why they can't wait to throw it out there for everyone else and then hold it back when it's one of the school colors. Are school colors passe?

IMHO, this is the best job Nike has done with OSU's ProCombat/Alternates yet, of course that should not have been too difficult to achieve since they didn't set the bar very high.

I still don't love the wider stripes on the sleeves and helmet, but they can redeem themselves if they use the regular are-they-green-or-are-they-black helmet stickers that have been traditionally worn and not the holy-crap-that-is-the-greenest-green-Ive-ever-seen helmet stickers that have been worn the previous three times this helmet has been rolled out. I hate those green stickers!

I think they look nice.

It's a lot of white to display all of the blood on the field.

I agree re: the lack of gray. I would love to see an all gray uniform---like a football version of the all gray basketball uniforms they wore during Jimmy Jackson's time. Those were great.
