With the upcoming re-release of the Rivalry jersey in January, does anybody know if the authentic version will be for sale?

I'm confused. So, will the Buckeyes be playing in the Rose Bowl in Pro Combat Uniforms; but, with the design of our current uniforms?

This appears to be next year's uni's, back to normal save a few tweaks

Maybe it's the angle but does the OSU jersey number look a tad bit smaller?

It's a photoshop job (look at the USC and Penn State numbers), and one of the first Pro Combat images released, probably 9 months ago. Seems to be created just to show a real early version of the combat sleeves and padding.

I'd expect to see our normal uniforms in the Rose Bowl and then the normal uniforms with Pro Combat enhancements (flywire on shoulders, lighter materials, etc.) in 2010.

It probably will be less drastic than the switch for the 2006 season.

In the posted picture the guy on the right is clearly a Penn State player, right? In the picture on the link the guy on the right is wearing the same stuff except for the helmet...it looks like Arizona's helmet...

The switch in 2006 wasn't drastic, the reactions were drastic. All we did was go back to the style we wore in the 80s.

Well the logo showing through the thigh pads, although it's not clear whether our's will have that. (It shows up on the first pic but not the one below)

It's funny that the first picture shared appears to be Penn State on the far right, but in the link you provided, it's Auburn or Arizona (can't tell, just know it's not PSU). The order of all the other teams are the same lol
