How in the hell has OCBW not started a thread on this?

ABC.News

Missing since 1991, Jaycee Lee Dugard is alive and her captors arrested.

The identity of Jaycee Lee Dugard, now 29, was revealed when she accompanied Phillip Garrido for questioning by his California parole officer. Garrido, a convicted kidnapper and rapist, also was accompanied by his wife Nancy and two young children that Garrido said were his.

Undersheriff Fred Kollar said in a news conference that Jaycee was the mother of the two young children who had been fathered by Garrido.

Cont'd ...

LOL I don't know why I didn't start a thread on this. I read about it last week. Can you believe the house she was held at was only like 3 houses down the block from her parents? Craziness!

You just seemed very interested in the story a while back about the Austrian guy that held his daughter captive for 24 years, so I thought this story would grab your attention. :wink2:

Really? I heard about this story the day it broke, but I didnt know she was right down the street. That's crazy. I get pissed when I read about what she had to go through. I wonder if she tried getting away in the past.

Whole situation is a shame

I feel that in my heart I could forgive him - if I could torture him first.

I read somewhere that he said "The things I did early on were disgusting, but in recent years I became a changed man and people will see my salvation when the full story is released."

Yeah because every "changed" man holds an abuductee and his two daughters up in a shed for 18 years. :-/
