Former Buckeye big men put together solid performances this week for their respective teams.

Mike Conley, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

It was a respectable week for Mike Conley this go round. While he saw his numbers take a slight decrease, he still was able to post double digit scoring numbers in all four of his contests this week and finished the week averaging a little over 16 points. He was also able to raise his assist numbers and the main reason for that would be a nine assist night that he would put together.

Best Performance: In something that shouldn't be surprising to anyone, Conley had his best game of the week when him and his Grizzlies squad took on the 76ers who had yet to win a game to that point. Conley, while shooting around 43% for the game, racked up 20 points. Conley was also able to dish out five assists and grab four rebounds. Lastly, a week high +/- of 9 was also acquired for Conley in the game. Memphis, to the surprise of no one, would walk away with a victory by the final score of 92-84.

Team Record: 11-8

Upcoming Games: 12/3 vs San Antonio Spurs, 12/6 vs Phoenix Suns, 12/8 vs Oklahoma City.

Kosta Koufos, C, Sacramento Kings

Last week was a bounce back week for Kosta Koufos and George Karl rewarded the big man by giving him more action this week. Koufos averaged 25 minutes per night this week and reached his season high in minutes when he had a 35 minute outing in game one of the week. Koufos did good things with the minutes boost as he averaged 11 points per contest and had three games in which he eclipsed 10+ points. Koufos would also put together his best rebounding week on the season as he snagged over eight boards per game. The bad news for Koufos however is that he had a rough outing to the end the week. We'll see if that has any effect on the new week upcoming.

Best Performance: Koufos had three solid nights this week but you can't go away from the double-double performance that he recorded on Friday night against the Timberwolves. To go along with the 13 rebounds that the 7-footer reeled in, he added 16 points which ties a season high. Not to be forgotten, Koufos shot 50% from the floor on the night and converted on all six free throw attempts in the unfortunate home loss.

Team Record: 7-12

Upcoming Games: 12/3 vs Boston Celtics, 12/5 @ Houston Rockets, 12/6 @ Oklahoma City, 12/8 vs Utah Jazz.

D'Angelo Russell, SG, Los Angeles Lakers

After seemingly making statistical improvements weekly, Russell finally watched his numbers take a bit of a dip this week. It was the scoring, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, and rebounding that are the main categories that Russell regressed in. However, that isn't to say he had a terrible week. Russell had a solid one as he finished with a 12 point, five rebound, four assist week. It's the FG%, which winded up at 41.6% for the week, that Russell would like to improve on. He also struggled to find his shot from outside this week as well. Russell made just three of his 13 attempts from beyond the arc. The good news for Russell is he continues to see an increase in minutes which means he is definitely getting an opportunity to perform for the Lakers, who are simply not good now days and last night they were defeated by the winless 76ers.

Best Performance: The first game of the week for the Lakers was on Saturday night when they headed to Portland to take on the Blazers. In the loss, of course, Russell dished out a team high five assists and grabbed four rebounds for the purple and gold. Russell added 16 points to his stat line and also, in a week in which he struggle with the three-point shot, he was the best for the Lakers on this night. Russell made half of his attempts as he drained two of his four three-point attempts.

Team Record: 2-15

Upcoming Games: Tonight @ Washington Wizards, 12/4 @ Atlanta Hawks, 12/6 @ Detroit Pistons, 12/7 @ Toronto Raptors.

Jared Sullinger, PF, Boston Celtics

Outside of his ability to convert from the free throw line, as he shot just 55.6% from the charity stripe, Sullinger played well overall in all other aspects. After a pair of 30+ minute outings out of the four games he played, he was on the floor for the most he's been any previous week. Sullinger also increased his scoring output from last week as he averaged just under 12 points per game this week -- his second best scoring week this season. It was even a really good week on the glass for the former OSU star as he grabbed roughly 11.8 per contest. Sullinger had just one game were he didn't reach double digit boards and he had two games in which he grabbed 15.

Best Performance: Sully had two awesome performances this week but it was the game against the Wizards on Friday night that stood out. The Celtics forward recorded yet another double-double -- his fifth of the year -- after he dropped 18 points while shooting over 65% from the floor. Sullinger was also able to grab 15 rebounds, dish out three assists, and had the green and white were 22 points better with the Ohio native on the hardwood.

Team Record: 10-8

Upcoming Games: 12/3 @ Sacramento Kings, 12/5 @ San Antonio Spurs, 12/7 @ New Orleans Pelicans.

Evan Turner, SG, Boston Celtics

After making a bit of a bounce back last week coming off of a poor four game stretch in the middle of November, it was a down week for Turner this time around. Turner was able to see the court the most this week over any other previous week on the year, but he certainly didn't take advantage of it. While he did put together two double digit scoring games, Turner was simply not efficient at all. After making just 14 of his 43 attempts, which is a not-so-good 32.6%, Turner gave us his worst shooting week of the year by far. Another thing worth mentioning is Turner again failed to knock down a three-point shot as he was 0-8 on the week. Turner's last made three-pointer came back on November 10th and he has now missed 17 in a row. For the optimists, Turner did have his best rebounding week as he averaged a close to 5.3 boards per night.

Best Performance: In Turner and the Celtics most recent match-up on Monday night against the Heat, Turner pitched in with 13 points on 5-11 shooting from the floor. Turner also reeled in six rebounds, three assists and had three swipes of the opposition. On the day that Turner recorded his week-high +/- rating of 16, Boston was able to walk out of the American Airlines Arena in South Beach with the victory.

Team Record: 10-8

Upcoming Games: 12/3 @ Sacramento Kings, 12/5 @ San Antonio Spurs, 12/7 @ New Orleans Pelicans.
