Google AI: Denis Villeneuve, director of the "Dune" movies, has been announced as the director for the next James Bond film, which will be the 26th in the franchise. This new installment will mark a fresh start for the series, following Daniel Craig's departure after "No Time to Die". Amazon MGM Studios is taking the reins of the franchise, with the new Bond film expected to be in cinemas by the end of 2027.

I’ll be interested to see where they take the franchise. I know, unless they go totally off the rails, I will watch it.

worth a look-see to see which way they go. Suave, dapper, and all, or rough and tumble. Maybe a techno-nerd? Might appeal to more of the contemporary watchers, dunno. Might be really hard to have a female 007, given all those prior. Will tune in also, but probably not pay to see in a theater, wait for Netflix etc. (was too long a wait for new John Wick, and Indiana Jones..).
