Jackson "L" Carman (OL Cincinnati Bengals)

Truffle shuffle?

Dirty Sanchez?

He runs out way away from the rest of the team, toward the OSU sideline, turns his back and starts pointing at his name on the back of the jersey a la Kenny Powers.

The notion that he had no animosity toward OSU but just wanted to get away is, apparently, completely false.

@Honor&Glory was telling us for a while that the kids attitude was suspect at best. I can confirm from a distance. He went out of his way to be a bitch.

Re: He went out of his way to be a bitch.

I remember back in the early 60s listening to the Brown's games on the radio (for those that don't remember the late 50 & early 60s, back then they didn't televise every NFL game). I liked the Giants and when the Browns played the Giants, the Brown's announcers always commented that Giant's DB Erich Barnes was the "dirtiest player in the NFL". Well, he was traded to the Browns prior to the 65 season and these same announcers were now saying he is the "most aggressive player in the NFL".

With that same philosophy, I'm sure if Jackson was a Buckeye there's no way he'd be a "bitch". He'd be praised for "demonstrating leadership skills, "exhibiting aggressive play", "showing confidence in his ability", and/or having that "mean streak we like in OL", etc.

Posted in one of the other threads, but one of my favorite plays was watching Haskell push him straight back into Barbie. The wife and I both went to Fairfield (she grew up in the city, I grew up in the township), and I hated the way he played the recruiting game. Loved seeing him pushed around last night.
On another note, think Clemson will have signs all over saying 49-28 to drive them? Me, neither. I think Dabo has them well on their way to an entitled mentality.

Dude is round.
Although it’s obviously not universally true, if a kid is considered a lock to Ohio State and he ends up going somewhere else, it’s a decent bet that the “grind” to be elite at OSU is viewed as something to be avoided by said player.

The roundness of Carmen reinforces that assumption in this case.

Now, the dude is likely going to talent his way into a first round pick regardless, so was it a good decision? Hard to say. I’m sure he had a good time at Clemson.

I am sure he did have a good time. He was never going to be a fit in Columbus and I never wanted him. Kid is the epitome of entitled mentality. Warmed my soul watching him get publicly humiliated last night. That was the player I remember getting abused by Colerain DE’s that were half his size.

I don't see him going 1st round
