He was always a good athlete, he was just prone to taking poor angles and being waaaaay over aggresive, taking himself out of plays. He lacks the instincts to be a "great" safety, but if they've fixed some of the bad habits from scUM that carried into the first year-plus of his career, he can certainly be a very good one. There were signs of that happening over the second half of last season.
