JabriLLL "Ghost" Peppers (New England Patriots)

They did it last year and we will do it again this year. We are going to go right at peppers all game. Could you imagine Elflie or Price pulling and getting to pick (maybe literally) peppers up as the man they are assigned?

Itd be like the scene where the quick dude in sin city get handcuffed to the bad ass guy. Speed won't matter much in tight quarters chief.
Wrong. Speed will matter a lot.

With his speed he will be able to duck this block and hit the dirt just like he did against the chubby PSU kicker.

Red Grange went to Illinois.

If Peppers went to Notre Dame, he'd be the reincarnation of the Four Horseman. All four of them in one.

He'd be the reincarnation of what their mounts deposited on the pavement.

He has not been challenged this year except for one game against Wisconsin and what was his stat line that game? He had two punt returns for 19 yards, one kickoff return for 14 yards and three total tackles. No sacks, no tackles for a loss, no interceptions (he doesn’t have one in his entire college career). Sure he can show out against Rutgers and Colorado and Hawaii, but when the real money is on the line against teams that have a pulse how will he fair [sic]? Against Ohio State last year he accounted for 55 yards of offense, and made five tackles, and was a non-factor in the Buckeyes 42-13 drubbing of the Wolverines. Against Michigan State last year he had 35 yards of offense and made two tackles.

Until Peppers proves that he can become a big game player, he doesn’t deserve to be in the discussion for the Heisman. Charles Woodson played both ways for the Wolverines and won a National Championship. Chris Gamble played both ways for the Buckeyes and also won a National Championship. What has Jabril Peppers won? A Citrus Bowl in which he didn’t even play.

He's an excellent athlete, but might be the most overrated player in the last two decades when it comes to hype vs. production.

whoa there.... im thinking you might be forgetting a few dozen or so guaranteed to change the way the game is played talents over that span. how quickly you forget about the awesomeness of moped riders, people who don't tie their shoes, guys who play leap frog directly into concussions and like 78 other players who were all going to be waaaay better than pryor could ever be. especially in dick rod's offe.... errr... brady chokes true blu..... errrr... teh harbles!!!!!eleven!! mastermining all things mastermindable with a level of enthusiasm unknown to mankind.

... im sorry, what were we talking about?

watching the miami-vt game. espn shows a graphic called "espn heismanology," which lists a panel of five players, including barrett. of course, chlamydia is among the five players and is one of two players to receive first place votes (5%).

give me a break.

jabrill's stats (per ttun website):

1st 3 games: 28 tackles (19 solo, 9 ast.), 9.5 tfl, 2.5 sacks, 1 ff, 0 int

2nd 3 games: 10 tackles (6 solo, 4 ast.), 0.5 tfl, 0 sacks, 0 ff, 0 int

against wisky? 3 tackles, nil, nil, nil, nil.

the official ttun site just added the boxscore for illinois.

last 4 games: 12 tackles (8 solo, 4 ast.), 0.5 tfl, 0 sacks, 0 ff, 0 int

yes, against illinois, that's a defensive stat line of 2 tackles, nil, nil, nil, nil
