JabriLLL "Ghost" Peppers (New England Patriots)

I really wonder why this mismanagement of game clock got no play. Not really surprised that it got no play with the Chlamichigan fanbase, but this didn't seem to get much play ANYWHERE. Weird.

media has an SEC like hard on for Harbaugh, I wouldn't count on them letting go of the dream anytime before the scUMers do

Are you talking about the last series of the game? Not sure where there was mismanagement. They took as much time off the clock as possible.

1st and 10 with 1:47. 4 yard rush, Sparty calls TO

2nd and 6 with 1:42. 3 yard rush, UM calls TO as play clock expires

3rd and 3 with :56. 1 yard rush, UM call TO as play clock expires

4th and 2 comes with :10 on the clock.

Other than running sweep plays that could have taken a couple extra seconds off the clock each play, don't know how else they could have managed the clock. Oh, and getting a first down would have helped.

If they do run sweeps or a stretch play on 2nd and 3rd downs, and take an extra 2 seconds off on each play, now 4th down comes with :06 on the clock. Now the QB can take the snap and chuck it down field to a WR running a fly pattern along the sidelines, and ensure the pass goes out of bounds to prevent a possible interception. Provided he arches the pass high enough, the play can easily burn those six seconds.

I see what you're saying. I agree. Hell, he should have ran Peppers (back on topic  ) on another jet sweep. Probably would have had a better chance at a first down.

A burner like him is just oozing big-play potential.
