J.T. Barrett pleads guilty to OVI, gets fined and loses license

Barrett owned up to bad decision, and now can officially move forward.
The drama surrounding J.T. Barrett's poor decision Halloween weekend is one step closer to being over. Barrett went to court Tuesday to face a judge following his OVI citation where he pled guilty and was given a $400 fine, had his driver's license suspended for 180 days and will have to complete a three-day alcohol education program.
According to Cleveland.com, Barrett made a brief statement in court, "I just want to apologize to my family, the Ohio State football program and Buckeye Nation."
Urban Meyer said in his Monday press conference that should Barrett practice well, he will be the starter on Saturday against Illinois. The offense has lacked a certain spark without Barrett under center, and could use his rushing ability to create offensive options going into the toughest part of the Buckeyes schedule.
