Seriously, yesterday was like Christmas Eve when I was a kid. My mom used to let me open a piece of shit gift on Christmas Eve [Fresno State vs Nevada] and it was hard as shit getting to sleep being so excited.

3:30 get here already.

I AM SOOO PUMPED.
The Buckeye flag on my porch looks especially great this morning, fluttering over the 14' high Brutus.

With the passing of each year, each and every Buckeye game day has taken on the feel of a holiday. However, the feeling one gets on this particular day...game day when it's the first game of the year.....is exactly like the feeling on Christmas morning.

The joy I get watching my sons (ages 9 and 12) on Christmas morning is quite special. The joy I got this morning when my 9 year old got up and asked, "Do you have the flag flying yet Dad?" followed by my 12 year old asking the exact same question when he woke up a half hour later, well that is priceless. (It also affirmed that we are raising them right!).

The boys have TBDBITL blaring on the stereo; they are getting their OSU gear on; there is no greater feeling in the world than sharing this special day with 2 future Buckeyes!! Except of course when I have them in the Shoe experiencing the best atmosphere for a football game in the country!
