Is OSU's rushing game becoming too predictable?

I might be the only one on this thread that doesn't care that Tressel calls running plays on every first down when we have the lead. First of all, no matter how good your QB only one "good" (completion) thing can happen when you throw the ball and two "bad" things can happen (Interception and incompletion). When you have 2 solid running backs and you have a solid defence I like the idea of wasting clock ASAP. This tactic was obvious last season when Pittman had the majority of hid TD's in the second half. Second Tressel has proven (to me at least) that he won't do this when the game is still not in hand. Let them run it all they want... Untill the scUM game, then score 100.

Many of us have observed that Tress runs the ball on first down when he has a lead; but you've come to the wrong site with the claim that you're the only one that likes it. We love Tresselball here. Try some other message board if you want to sound like a voice in the wilderness. Here, you'll have to join the chorus.
