Is anyone else working today?

Yeah no shit. Can a get a charity Dell or something?

Sure; no problem. Just call Dell and order whatever you want. When they ask for your credit card number, just tell them that a guy named Bernard Rubble told you to call. It should be all taken care of from there. Sure, the guy might tell you something like "that doesn't mean anything to me; we can't ship anyhting without a valid credit card number - blah, blah, blah" Just ignore that crap - it's just in case their QA department is recording his call. Believe me, your computer will be on it's way within a few days.

Physically taking up space in a cubicle all day? Yes.

Doing real, actual work? Not yet... though I do need to do a little bit at some point.
Great post, I agree... except that "some point" was 10 minutes ago for me. Next on my agenda: Where to eat lunch.

by work do you mean: sending out a few emails to coordinate this weekend's boozetravaganza, reading the hilarity on Buckeye Planet open discussion forum, figuring out where I want to go to lunch like a previous post, then heading over to soonerfans to see if there are any new farks?...then yes, I have a busy busy day ahead of me, and I must go now

So you see, a lot of people are working today...I'm just not one of them. Haven't worked since Dec. 19th and I don't go back until Jan 2nd...

Probably unpaid leave for shooting an unarmed minority. :shake:

They said Mr. Rubble's account was maxed out

I'm in the office by myself right now. Just trying to figure out how early I'm going to leave today.

Same here, unfortunately, the other two tech's took vacation days today so I am stuck :pissed: What sucks even more is that there's like 25% of the staff here and I have squat-all to do. So I am sitting here and reading forums, watching the time pass... sigh.
