Didnt know exactly where to put this, so General sounds good to me. Wondered if anybody would be interested in having a java based irc chat on here. For those of you that are not familiar with IRC, it stands for Internet Relay chat. Forums always bothered me, cause ya gotta post, wait for people to respond, etc. Always preferred live chat. Anyway, just wanted some other people's thoughts on it. There is a free java IRC client called pjirc.

I will pass this on to a couple mods as well to spread around. If nobody is interested, just go ahead and blow me. Was an idea :)

Well the funny part is, I didnt even notice that being there :P

Nobody in there though eh. Course I guess we're all not lucky enough to be able to sit at work in chat all day :)

I like forums because you can go away for a while and catch up on everything while you were gone. Chat is much more time consuming. I was into the chat on Rover's Morning Glory (roverradio.com) for a while but it was sucking up my whole day.
