Siri is not working at all. I tried to use it to compose a text message, and after I state the message it acts like it's doing the speech-to-text conversion and then just leaves the text box blank. Same thing when I try to compose a note in Notes. Then when I try to speak in the default command mode (such as "Where am I?" or "Call so-and-so") it just says "Uh-oh, there's something wrong. Could you please try again?" or a variation thereof. It's really pissing me off. I've powered off the phone and powered it back on, and that didn't fix it. However, I did notice that on the power up screen that the Apple icon had a slice mark in it (since I'm totally new to Apple stuff, I assume that means there's some sort of problem).

The following steps appear to have fixed it:

1. Launch the Settings app and disable Siri under Settings -> General
2. Reboot your iPhone
3. Launch the Settings app and enable Siri. You should be able to start using Siri.
