DT you cannot shoot too much..you may have to go old school and go for 35 a game. ala Bo Lamar, Pistol Pete and Cal Murphy.also Rick Mount,

I agree but this is pretty funny to see when you look back at the people complaining about DT shooting too much his freshman and sophomore seasons. Particularly when you factor in the fact that he shot 52.0% from the field last year.

I was laughing at myself while typing it..also would trade Ross and Thompson to have Buford back.

I sure hope Thomas and the the Buckeyes are not as cold as the weather forecast is for Tuesday.

We have to find another consistent double digit scorer on the team. I think we'll win this one, but to keep our trajectory up, we need another solid scorer.

I am afraid he isn't walking through the door anytime soon..I thought after his showing in the NCAA tournament last year Lenzelle would be that guy..I was wrong thought he would attack the rim more than he has and hit a fair number of jumpers:(

Guys will come out Tuesday and play like they are capable. I'm looking at a big win with DT, Scott and one other guy stepping up big. Craft will be there on defense but someone else is going to hit some shots at home. Maybe ADV needs some more minutes? Whatever it takes.

• Matchup to watch: Aaron White is from Strongsville, Ohio, and Iowa was the only Big Ten school to offer him a scholarship. This is his first game back in his home state. He is averaging 13.2 points and 5.4 rebounds and shooting 59.5 percent from the field in conference play. He’ll match up against Deshaun Thomas.

• Notable: Ohio State has won seven straight games against Iowa overall and six in a row at home. Coach Thad Matta is 6-0 at home against the Hawkeyes. … Thomas has scored 20 or more points in five consecutive Big Ten games, the longest such streak by an OSU player since Jim Jackson in 1992. … Iowa has made a Big Ten-high 72.8 percent of its free throws in conference play. Ohio State has made a league-low 39 and is shooting 60 percent.

• Next: at Penn State, noon Saturday
