That’s a weird take, even for something highlighted by MBG

I interacted with several female athletes at Ohio State. Every one of them resented the football team’s budget. Not one was a football fan. Not one had any concept of a revenue generating sport or why that should make a difference.

Those experiences taught me something about human nature, but at no point did it occur to me that self-centeredness had anything to do with it. Not surprised that the OP was dinged pretty heavily

Edit: not saying that Clark resents her football team… I have no idea about that. I just find it odd that anyone would have an expectation that a female athlete would shout out the football team.

I mean, what part of WNBA or Womens National Team would lead anyone to believe they're ever thankful to the men for bankrolling their team?

They just think they're entitled to that, and more.

When I engage females with this kind of world view I casually switch the conversation to their sammich making prowess.

It usually speeds things up. Either a sammich is about to get made or they stop yapping. I’m fine either way.
