What I wouldn’t give… there was nothing like seeing the grass at Ohio Stadium when you walked up the ramp.

Seriously I know it’s hard to grow grass there but dang hire someone who knows their shit and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

From everything I've read about it, when they did the stadium renovations in 1999-2000, they lowered the playing surface and it put it below the water table of the Olentangy making good drainage nearly impossible. They tried using Prescription Athletic Turf but it was constantly having to be re sodded. The Game in 2006 was the last game played on grass and if you watch that game, you will see the turf coming up in chunks.

This game is going just the way Iowa wanted it to. The clock is flying by and we are not capitalizing on all of our possessions. Could be worse but it's not great.
