Games like this help prevent the late season B1G backslide that we've seen so often in the past. I really think this team has the pieces to make the Tourney and maybe even win a couple of games if we get back on track. I know the B1G slate is always difficult but we've got to learn how to make it through the gauntlet.

All that is to say great win and lets channel that effort into the rest of the season.

I think 6-5 in the last 11 likely gets them in (that brings us to a .500 B1G finish)

4 of the remaining games are against the bottom 3 in the B1G (2 vs Corn, 1 vs Ped State, 1 vs Washington) take care of business against those teams and they are in good shape.

Funny you should mention that, I was just looking at the remaining schedule and thought the same thing. Should be able to make up for some losses down the stretch, but of course you never know with this team. At least the rest of the schedule isn't too brutal though.

Them not having a letdown against Iowa is a good sign, if they can survive the road game @ Penn State I might believe they are turning the curve. Thursday night is very crucial.
