Iowa -3.5 at TSUN (ov/un 53.5) 3:30 ET ABC/ESPN

If TSUN was able to put it together and play without all these mistakes on offense, they would light up Ohio State's injury-riddled secondary a few times as well.

I just don't think that they have good enough coaching to do that and, even if they did, gosh, they are horrible on defense.

What I see taking shape is that TSUN is starting to believe in RichRod. Maybe not if they lose a few more, but if they win out with losses only to Wisky and Ohio State, then I think they might keep him. :slappy:

Well I knew Michigan would lose this game, but they didn't give up.

Positives-

500+ yards against one of the top defenses in the Big Ten.

Tate threw for 239 yards in the 2nd half alone.

Good to see Hopkins in. He ran the ball hard.

Michigan's d didn't give up 500+ yards. They "only" gave up around 385 haha

Negatives-

Michigan's d on the last drive. I just knew if Michigan got the ball again they would score.

4 turnovers and Iowa didn't have any. :(

Michigan had 8 penalties

Michigan Special Teams besides our punter was just flat out horrible.

Final thoughts-

I think Michigan can beat Penn St. The offense needs to protect the ball and the defense just needs to force a turnover or two. Tate needs to be our starter and Denard can be a wildcat qb, a running back, or whatever. But what do I know, I'm just a fan. The offense will be ok if they can protect the damn ball. The defense is a fail, but I'll be happy if they hold teams to less than 500 yards and maybe 30 points a game.:)

Good game Iowa, if there are any fans on the board. Well deserved.

Tate did a pretty good job keeping us in it there in the second half. Not sure if it creates a QB controversy, but it's nice to have a competent back up.

I still think we win vs Illinois, PSU, and Purdue.
I think your offense is much more dangerous with tate. Denard just isn't enough of a weapon in the passing game. This is one of the few cases I'd say a qb rotation would be the best bet.

I think you beat psu because they're awful, ditto Purdue, Illinois...depends which Scheelhaase shows up.

I agree. And I hate rotating qbs...

I would agree. I think there is potential for Royster to totally gash your defense, but your offense should be able to score at will on them, given how many injuries they've suffered on the defensive side of the ball. Should be something like UM 42, PSU 31.
